My most favorite phase of life yet!

Charles Luke Thurman Jr. made his entrance on November 21st! We are so thankful to God for his health and fun little personality!

We did our newborn session when Charlie was about 2 weeks old! Charlie’s wearing a Feltman Brothers’ gown & bonnet. You can’t dress them like a sweet, tiny baby forever, so I am taking advantage of it while I can!

For the hospital I had all the cute, comfy, blue pajamas for myself, brought my makeup, curling iron, and ALL THE THINGS…. and I used NONE of it!!! Before my C-section, I got ready, did my makeup, and fixed my hair. Two hours after having Charlie I was BEGGING to take a shower and wash my face! 🤣 Moral of the story, Instagram is fake and don’t feel bad for not looking picture perfect after giving birth.

What I did have and use was Charlie’s Beaufort Bonnet Sash Swaddle. This was actually my sister’s that she used for both of her babies which made it even more special!! I got Charlie’s initials monogrammed onto it and of course his big furry brother, Chester! I also had a sweet banner made by a local friend, an embroidered sign with his name on it, and a sweet quilt gifted from family at one of our baby showers. Then, for when we got home, I had an adorable stork made with Charlie’s name on it. I wanted one I could stick into our planters and it was perfect!
