I’m Back!!!!
I have been extremely MIA the past few months for a couple of reasons!!!
First, we sold our home and have been in the process building our dream home! This has been the best process so far, shout out to our builder who has made everything so seamless and easy! We are finally getting into the end stages where everything is coming together and I cannot wait to start sharing.
In other MAJOR news, we’re HAVING A BABY!!! We’re expecting our sweet baby boy at the end of November. I told myself I was still going to stay on top of my blog even while moving, but that first trimester was ROUGH!! So I decided to take a little break and resume when I felt better, and when time got closer to moving in. So… I’m back!!!!
Over the past few months, we’ve moved, traveled, took baby announcement photos, had our gender reveal party, and have made tons of fun decisions on the house!
I will shortly be updating y’all on all things house related, so for now, I wanted to share some fun baby content!
For our announcement photos, I wanted to do the vintage baby carriage with florals. I rented the most adorable carriage from a sweet girl in Brentwood, TN. Once I got the carriage, I went to Kroger and picked up all the blue and pink florals they had. Blue & white hydrangeas & pink roses were my main florals, and then I added in some greenery. I used wet foam at the bottom of the carriage and just stuffed away with the florals. I was so happy with how it turned out! I got our announcement pendant from Little Happies, which I was also OBSESSED with. We took the photos at one of my favorite spots in our hometown. I love this spot because it gives such a classic look!
We found out the gender of our baby just the two of us at the beach with our first fur baby, Chester! It was so special and such a fun moment for us. I took the gender results into Seaside Kids & Baby and picked out 3 outfits for a girl & 3 outfits for a boy. I gave them my debit card and my phone, which had the results, then they brought the bag out to us all wrapped up!
For our gender reveal, my mom threw us the most adorable “Tea Parties or Tee Times” themed gender reveal. She is so good at party planning and hosting! She did cute little tea sandwiches, arnold palmers, and sweets of course! We used smoke bombs I got off Amazon, which blew out blue smoke to let everyone know we are having a baby BOY!
